On my way

Brother Bear aired again on Disney last Saturday. Since I still had a hangover, I decided to draw a fan art! Here's Kenai as a bear and the spirit of the eagle is his brother Sitka. This drawing is about living a new life in new shoes, well in Kenai's case, in paws! While I did this fan art, I played Phil Collins' On my Way and Look Through my Eyes in my iPod in loop! It inspired me more and gave me the right atmosphere to work because those songs hold inspirational messages. :D

Last Saturday I watched Brother Bear again in Disney Channel and I couldn't help but cry when Kenai realized that the bear he killed in the start of the movie was Koda's mom. I always cry in these kinds of parts! But I have no problem with that because I want to feel the message being brought by the movie, you know what I mean? Disney movies always leave a big impact on me. Like Hatching Pete, which was aired yesterday night. (Wait, lookie here. I just turned on the TV and it's airing now. HAHA)

It's about stepping out from your comfort zone, taking a deep breath and plunging into the great depths of the ocean below. It's about taking a risk, an opportunity that might never appear before you again.

But in time you will know that nothing will ever come to you when you don't take chances and don't accept changes. Pete Ivey had a choice when the whole school wanted him to take the mascot off. What did he choose? He chose to take it off, take the burden of not being confident enough off. A chicken is not meant to stay in the quarters of its shell but to hatch from it and live a life. To be known. To be loved. And the outcome? People cheered for him, for Pete. And that made all the difference!

The impact brought by this movie to me was that I became more confident with what I want to achieve in life even though it seems impossible to happen. And it made my image on myself healthier and wiser.

Man, I love Disney movies. :D

Hey Arli! =)

Tama lahat ng mga sinabi mo. How can you know what's out there if you don't take the risk? Same as for you! You should start making your dreams come true. =)

Well, there was this movie "Twitches" and there was this so called "Darkness" whose voice scares the hell out of me.

Return to Holloweentown was so unbelievable that it freaks me out.

And I could barely understand Camp Rock. I mean, if you wanted to fit in and make friends, why make yourself someone greater than you already are in words and brag about it? If you say lies about yourself, who are you really? Right?

And Princess Diaries, freaky.

Disney Channel movies are scaring me sometimes, in a freaky way.
