Funny yet still creepy for me

My favorite trio in the whole world. 

Last night something happened that really creeped me out but left a foolish smile on my face. It was a stormy night…Almost midnight…

Since my Dad wasn’t replying to my messages, I walked to our living room and checked Mom’s cellphone. There was a new message and thinking that it was from Dad, I opened it. It was from Tita Jane. As I walked from the living room back to my room, I read the message. *oo, habang naglalakad sa gabi, walang nakabukas na ilaw. yung TV lang nagbibigay ng liwanag, nasa kwarto ko*

Tumaas balahibo ko. Know what I did?

I said “Ehhhhh!” and jumped on my bed.

I lied down on my back so no spirits would climb back on it.

Hahaha yes, funny yet still creepy.

I'm very inspired!

The sketch on the right, see it? I colored it in earlier because our internet was down the whole morning. Since I got nothing to do, I practiced coloring! The finished piece is in my deviantART account and in my sketchblog.

Before, I used to draw anime but I feel as though I should step away from it and come up with my own style of drawing.

Ever since Grade 3, I've always drawn anime up until my mid-4th year life. Sometime I'll post my old anime drawings here. Hee. :) But now, I'm off on a journey to get that cartoon-y style. I have a dream, you see. It's a VERY far-fetched dream for someone like me, for someone who's just in the beginning of being an artist. But I believe in the words of the man who've inspired me to go on and move forward. To reach for my dream even though it may seem so faraway from where I am today.

Hey life sucks at times and there are times that we're like the happiest people in the world. Also there are times that we've given up because of certain things that destroy our focus on the road we're paving. However, there's always God to shed some light, to guide us along the way. Helping God are our family, our friends, our inspirations and those strangers we see in our daily life whom 'could' play a special role in our life someday.

Ngayon-ngayon lang eh nainspire akong magstart small. Make my own comic strips. Then probably a webcomic sometime. But if I'm being ambitious at best, maybe a movie! Ha. May limitations din ang pangarap. Hahaha so I'll start small first. Then work my way up the ladder until I reach the moon!~ Am I making sense? Well I hope so. Haha that's another goal of mine. To insert some sense into the words I'm saying/typing. Oh well, there's always room for improvement!

Of summer and comic strips

Here's a little sketch for the day entitled The Night Comes Alive. I'm no party animal myself, you see. If ever I get invited to a party, I'd probably sit in one corner and eat. 

After one month and a few days, I will live inside the historical walls of Intramuros! Then I will be a college student, then graduate, work for Disney then back to the beginning. Ha! Hindi ganyan kadali i-explain ang buhay. 

Pero ang buhay summer ko? Very easy! All I did was eat, sleep, surf the internet, draw, color, watch TV, blog, Tumble, chat, Plurk, roleplay, sleep again, stay awake up until 1 in the morning, play with the cats, enjoy bonding moments with my Mom, play Facebook games, dream and everything else in between! Imagine not being paid for doing those exhilarating jobs! 

So now, seeing that I've done nothing to make my summer productive, I've decided to make comic strips! And I'm going to call it "Four Terrible Years", starring my batchmates! Ako ang sidekick. Let's see... Sa lahat ng Terible dyan, give me very funny memories na nangyari sa high school life natin. Then I'll make a comic strip for it. Then will post it here. In my blog. Maybe. Or someplace else. Parang gantong mga tipong pangyayari.
